Explain how the roles of leader, manager and follow-up differ in nursing practice.
Based on leadership theory, identify the role that a managerial leader should have in nursing and explain why.
Part II
Read about labor laws especially the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 – Public Law 104 – 191 de 21 August de 1996 (HIPAA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
Then, read chapters 3 and 4 of the course textbook.
In addition, you should watch the Leadership video found in the required resources.
Once these steps are completed, write guided by the following points:
Identify at least three (3) ethical-legal conflicts that may exist in a nursing organization and explain what leadership role the manager should assume.
It explains the nursing implications of:
Clinical safety
Quality regulatory agencies
Ethical-legal conflicts
Diversity and inclusion in nursing leadership, management, and follow-up
Explain and justify your opinion as to whether you agree with Dr. Sharma’s presentation on the topic of ethical market media.
Do not forget that all work must have a presentation page or cover, as well as the sections of introduction, development, conclusion, and references.
Introduction: includes definitions of concepts.
Development:
Describe what the work is about, why it is done, and what its goals are.
It includes statistics related to the issue at hand.
Conclusion: Reflect, based on evidence, on the topics analyzed in the task.
